#33 Cow Horse

Image
What's going on everyone? I hope you've had a fun week watching March Madness. (Brother Sutton in our ward has been keeping me up to date on how BYU has been doing. Go Cougs   ). I thought it would be a little harder not watching, but once we get working in the vineyard, my focus is completely on the work!  We were biking and we passed this house with a lot of horses (pretty common here) and there was one that had white and black patches so basically we saw a cow horse. The amount of flat tires I got this week is insane! One day my front tire would work perfectly and the back would be having trouble, and then the next day the back tire would work perfect and the front tire would be having problems. But because of that, we got approved from more miles   So now we don't have to stress out about that. We had three of our friends come to church this week and there's a lot more that want to come!! So the work is definitely progressing. A lot of friends have some ch...

#32 My Own Alma Experience

I hope everyone had the best week of their entire life!! Mine was pretty solid so let's get into it! I went on exchanges with Elder Fabrizio on Thursday. He's from Eagle Idaho   and apparently I ran against him in middle school cross country. So that's kinda cool. Also that day I did my first Baptismal interview. It was a really cool experience. He was so ready and has an amazing testimony. Right after the interview we called a referral who we've been trying to have a lesson with for a long time. She answered her phone and we were able to have a fantastic lesson with her. She used to be a member and was wanting to start coming back but she didn't know if she would be welcome. We testified and then added our Relief Society President to the call who had the BEST member participation that I have ever seen! She was testifying, inviting, and promising blessings. She's an absolute legend    On Saturday we drove into Vegas for a breakfast with all the missionaries an...

#31 The Valley of the Shadow of Death

How's it going? This was a pretty normal week, which means it was pretty amazing  We had Zone conference on Wednesday and it was amazing as always   I got to see both my mission dads and my son! All the trainings were so amazing and th3 spirit was so strong! After that we drove back to Pahrump in the rain    I've kinda missed the rain because it hardly rains out here. Also they still haven't given the official results for the clean car award but we think we could have won it because out soccer mom van was pretty darn clean. Our mission president recently received revelation that everyone needs to be biking more. So our miles got cut so much. And this week we had a lot of bike problems so we're already half way through our miles this month and we're just a third of the way through the month   So we're going to be doing a lot biking the rest of the month. And Pahrump was not built for biking. So it'll be fun    We had a lot of people say...

#30 Throw It Out!!

Hey y'all! Hope you're having a great week! This week I finished the Book of Mormon again. And what a book it is! Basically every single page testifies so powerfully of Jesus Christ! There's no other explanation for it other than it is God's word. Put down your phone right now and go read the Book of Mormon. It will bless your life so much    And then go tell someone what you found One of my favorite verses is Moroni 10:32 "32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." We can be perfected only through our Savior Jesus Christ. This life was never about what we can do on our own. It has always been what we can do when we come unto Christ...
