#31 The Valley of the Shadow of Death

How's it going? This was a pretty normal week, which means it was pretty amazing πŸ˜Š

We had Zone conference on Wednesday and it was amazing as always πŸ”₯ I got to see both my mission dads and my son! All the trainings were so amazing and th3 spirit was so strong! After that we drove back to Pahrump in the rain πŸŒ§  I've kinda missed the rain because it hardly rains out here. Also they still haven't given the official results for the clean car award but we think we could have won it because out soccer mom van was pretty darn clean.

Our mission president recently received revelation that everyone needs to be biking more. So our miles got cut so much. And this week we had a lot of bike problems so we're already half way through our miles this month and we're just a third of the way through the month πŸ˜¬ So we're going to be doing a lot biking the rest of the month. And Pahrump was not built for biking. So it'll be fun πŸ˜

We had a lot of people say they were going to come to church, but not many came. But at least we had 1! Shoutout Philip! A couple of our friends have been struggling recently so if y'all could keep Jimmy and Eddie in your prayers that would be great πŸ˜Š Eddie was going to come to church, but he forgot about the time change πŸ˜’ But he'll be there next week.

Speaking of the time change, at first I wasn't happy because we got one less hour of sleep. But now it's bright until like 7! So even if something doesn't seem great, instead of getting frustrated, just look at the brightside instead.

Today we went to Death Valley national park and it was pretty cool! There were a lot of rocks πŸ˜ But honestly it was pretty cool and I got a cool shirt. It also reminded me of this scripture from Psalms
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
No matter what we are going through, the Lord is always with us. We have no need to fear because the Lord is always near!

Have a great week!
