Elder Andrew Jensen

  Sorry this email is going to be so short but what a crazy week! On Wednesday we had an exchange with one of the Zone leaders and it went really well but then that night we got a call from another Zone leader about some craziness going on in their zone so we spent the rest of that night and the whole next day figuring out an emergency transfer. I would be totally fine if I never had to do one of those. But everyone's doing a lot better now. The next day we also ran new missionary orientation which was also a little stressful but super cool to see all the missionaries. We also had an amazing event put on by the mission. It was called they get together gather. They were missionaries running a bunch of cool stations like basketball, family history, and ping pong. We weren't running any stations so we went out during the event and invited everyone we saw off the street. Overall we got a ton of people to come and one of the people we pulled off the street won the MVP of the basketb...

  It's been a wild last couple of weeks! Last week we had a special zone conference with Elder and Sister Dunn from the seventy. It was really good! They talked about being spiritually fit and we were can be diligent in enduring to the end. We also had a special MLC where they taught us about the difference between a leader and a manager. It was really inspiring and helped me want to be better. I got to go to Mandarin branch Sacrament meeting a couple Sundays ago. Obviously I didn't really understand anything they were saying, but it's just so cool to see ordinances done in different languages. God's work is progressing!!  Last week we had transfers. This transfer I'll be kinda doing the same thing but also not. I'll be traveling for half the transfer and then the other half I will have an area which I'm pretty excited about   My companions are Elder Gurr, Elder Taumoepeau, and Elder Trevenan. Two of us will be out traveling and two of us will be in the area...

  How's it going everyone? I hope you've been doing well! These past couple weeks have been pretty crazy. Last week on Wednesday we had zone conference. It was really good as always. We gave a training on overcoming fear. I didn't get to do a lot of the planning for it because I was on an exchange when they planned it, so I was basically just winging it. After zone conference I rode to Pahrump with Elder Empey!! It was good to see my niño again. I spent the entire week in Pahrump and Ioved it so much. There's just a different spirit out there. I got to spend a couple days with the Spanish missionaries out there. It was really fun and really good even though mi español es muy triste   We went on a couple morning runs and it was gorgeous outside! The weather was so heavenly. There's an amazing new member out there named Emery. He's only been a member for 2 or 3 months but he blesses the sacrament every week, he got his patriarchal blessing, and he brings his Book ...
