  Hey everyone! We had Zone Conference on Wednesday which was awesome as always. There were so many amazing trainings. I also got to see my kid Elder Empey again which was really fun.  Holy cow! The amount of time my companion played Jesus Take the Wheel by the cast of VeggieTales is crazy! He would put it on when he went in the shower and then have it autoplay the whole time. I've probably heard that song close to 50 times. So now I have the whole song memorized.  We had our housing inspection this week and the couple who did our inspection said that we had the cleanest and most well organized apartment they had ever seen. See Mom, I told you I wouldn't be super messy when I was on my own (it was mostly Elder Gates who kept our apartment clean. I did my part too, but he's definitely the MVP). OK now it's miracle time.   What's up? I hope y'all are doing well! On Wednesday we had exchanges with the Zone Leaders. It was super awesome! He's 28 years old and he's super smart so I learned so much from him. We did some service for some recent converts where they had us reorganize their living room. So basically I'm an interior designer now. They kept asking what we though looked good and we didn't really have any idea, but we moved a bunch of stuff around and they said it looked great   Maybe I need to go into interior designing. They also had a fish tank and one of decorations inside was the Dory Disney infinity character. That kind of hurt my soul because I love Disney infinity. Also it was even colder this week than last week. The wind was insane. I'm probably just a baby because it still is like 50 degrees every day.   Yeah it's pretty cold out here. Now a high of 50 might sound pretty nice to most of you right now, but when you're biking around all day with freezing cold wind and not really wearing a lot of winter gear (because you're in Las Vegas, who needs winter gear in Vegas) it gets very very cold. I didn't think this would actually happen, but I'm actually looking forward to the 120 degree days  Besides the cold, this was a pretty solid week. We had way more lessons than we usually do which was awesome! One of them went way off the rails though. We were talking about the resurrection, and then our friend started going off about reincarnation and her husband who can walk through walls   So that was interesting.   How's it going? I hope everyone had a great new years! This email will probably be pretty short.  On new years day me and Elder Empey both woke up exactly at midnight when they started shooting off the fireworks. They were the loudest fireworks I've ever heard. Las Vegas definitely knows how to party. The next day there was nobody on the streets. It was so empty. This week was not too eventful. We went out with a priest on Friday which was really fun. We found out that he has the same birthday as me which is pretty cool. On Sunday we got transfer calls and they're taking my son away from me   But he's going with my mtc comp Elder Taylor which is pretty cool. My new comp is Elder Gates who is one transfer younger than me. I'm also going to be the district leader this transfer. So we'll see how this goes.
