#33 Cow Horse

 What's going on everyone? I hope you've had a fun week watching March Madness. (Brother Sutton in our ward has been keeping me up to date on how BYU has been doing. Go Cougs 🤙). I thought it would be a little harder not watching, but once we get working in the vineyard, my focus is completely on the work! 


We were biking and we passed this house with a lot of horses (pretty common here) and there was one that had white and black patches so basically we saw a cow horse.

The amount of flat tires I got this week is insane! One day my front tire would work perfectly and the back would be having trouble, and then the next day the back tire would work perfect and the front tire would be having problems. But because of that, we got approved from more miles 🥳 So now we don't have to stress out about that.

We had three of our friends come to church this week and there's a lot more that want to come!! So the work is definitely progressing. A lot of friends have some challenging barriers, but through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, everything is possible!! 😊

A couple weeks ago it was really cold, and then this week was really hot 😰 I also got sunburned because I forgot to put sunscreen on (sorry Mom 😞). But it wasn't too bad so that was good.

I was reading in 2 Nephi 2 this week. The most famous verse in this chapter is verse 25. "Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy." But if you look at the footnote on joy, it says the potential to become like Heavenly Father. So if you read it that way, it says, "Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might become like Heavenly Father." Our purpose here on Earth is to become more and more like Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven each and everyday. I love the fact that this life isn't it. There's a purpose to this life, and it's to prepare us for the next life. And the best way to prepare for the next life is to make and keep sacred covenants. Doing the things God has asked us to do helps us feel the most joy in this life and in the life to come! Study more about covenants! It'll bless your life!

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
