#97 Biking Doesn't Stop

 Back at it again with another week! This past week felt super fast and it also felt really hot 🔥 But the work doesn't stop and the biking doesn't stop either 🚲🚲

This week was crazy because we hit all of our goals except no one came to church. I woke up on Sunday morning without a doubt in my mind that we were going to have at least 2 friends at church. But then both of them slept in 😓 But we're going to keep working with them and it'll be better next week. Then to add onto the disappointment we already felt that day, the Golden Knights lost the Stanley Cup Final 😭 Please send some prayers down this way. Las Vegas is taking it pretty hard. We thought that when the Stanley Cup finished we would be able to talk to more people, but we were wrong. Still no one wants to talk to us because now the world cup is going on. Shoutout USA though. 4-1 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅

We had to drop a lot of our friends this past week because they weren't progressing. It was pretty sad but now we get to focus on finding new people to teach. We made a lot of good plans for this next week. But if y'all have any ideas on how to find new people in an area with gated communities and multi-million dollar custom homes, please shoot me an email 😁 We know they're out there. We just gotta put in the work

I was studying the Come Follow Me lesson this week and I really loved it. In 1 Samuel, Saul was not very confident in himself. When he was supposed to be presented as the new king, he didn't even show up. But the Lord new his potential and he was able to be reborn.

"And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day." 1 Samuel 10:9

God gave him a new heart. When we turn our lives over to Him, we are changed physically, spiritually, and emotionally. He can change everything about us. I have been spiritually reborn through Jesus Christ. I love being able to help people turn to Christ and be changed through Him 😇

#10 Transfers and Dia de la Familia

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #20 Getting Sandy in Sandy Valley

  Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your Christmas season has been amazing! On Wednesday we had our mission Christmas party. It was so fun! We were listening to normal Christmas music which was a little weird, and then we watched Home Alone 2 which felt very weird. But it was also pretty cool. Sister Nielson made some really funny comments anytime a character did anything "inappropriate" like swearing or smoking. We then sang Christmas carols which was also really fun.  That night I went on exchanges with my district leader in Sandy Valley. Sandy Valley is about an hour drive from Vegas and I got to drive all the way there   It was also my first time leaving the Las Vegas valley. It was weird not being able to see the strip that night and also being able to see the stars. It felt like I was in a completely different mission. It was pretty cool. #7-Viviann's Baptism!!

  How's it going everyone? I hope you all had a great week and have been enjoying some nicer weather. I think I might have said this last week, but I honestly believe the weather in heaven is the weather on a late September evening in Las Vegas. It has been soooo nice outside and has made biking pretty fun. So the best part of my week was on Saturday and Sunday when our friend Viviann was baptized and confirmed. It was a pretty small baptism, but there was such a sweet and sincere spirit there. After she was baptized she bore her testimony and it was really powerful. You could tell that even though she is still pretty new to the Gospel, she knows that it is true. I also felt the Spirit on Sunday when she was confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was such a sweet experience and I know I will remember it for a while.
