#95, 96 Yeah, it's a little warm

 What a week it was! Biking in the heat, getting a little sick, and most people not wanting to hear the message. But it was still good 😇

It's finally starting to get pretty hot. This coming week the high is on average 107 and we're still going to get out and bike it 🚲 Please pray for us that we don't die! 🙏 But the good news is that basically everyone gives us water bottles. And people tend to be nicer because they see us out biking in the heat.

We've been struggling to find new people to teach, so if anyone has any ideas on how to find people in an area where most people have a decent amount of money, please let me know! We know there are people out there. We're just trying to figure out the best way to find them.

We did find this awesome new friend named Neri this week. We had to send him off to California because that's where he lives, but we found him while he was here for a horse dancing competition. Basically, he's a horse dancing jockey 🏇 Since we met him I've been trying to figure out what that would look like.

The Golden Knights are up 2-1 in the series and it's apparently been crazy. So if you can, keep watching them for me. Game 4 is tonight ⚔️⚔️

The peace that Jesus offers is unlike anything the world can offer. Jesus loves you!!

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. #20 Getting Sandy in Sandy Valley

  Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your Christmas season has been amazing! On Wednesday we had our mission Christmas party. It was so fun! We were listening to normal Christmas music which was a little weird, and then we watched Home Alone 2 which felt very weird. But it was also pretty cool. Sister Nielson made some really funny comments anytime a character did anything "inappropriate" like swearing or smoking. We then sang Christmas carols which was also really fun.  That night I went on exchanges with my district leader in Sandy Valley. Sandy Valley is about an hour drive from Vegas and I got to drive all the way there   It was also my first time leaving the Las Vegas valley. It was weird not being able to see the strip that night and also being able to see the stars. It felt like I was in a completely different mission. It was pretty cool.
