 How's it going everyone?!

These past couple weeks have been bonkers but so amazing!!

Two weeks ago we got to spend a lot of time with President and Sister Coleman planning the upcoming transfer. There was so much inspiration and this transfer is going to be amazing. For my news, I was transfered out of Spanish Hills and out of the quad. I'm going to miss Elders Christensen, Pulsipher, and Landon. But now I'm in a trio!! I'm with Elder Proctor and a brand new missionary named Elder Petersen. We're up in the Lone Canyon Zone in the Valley Vista and Washburn wards. Also for those of you who know Elder Nick Forsberg, I'm in his parent's ward ðŸ˜†ðŸ˜†

This past week was so fun! Elder Petersen is so amazing and so fun. On his very first night in the field (so like 5 hours after he got off the plane) we saw this guy and he had Elder Petersen's dream car. So he went up to him and they connected immediately. Me and Elder Proctor were just standing in the back in awe at what was going on. He connected it to the gospel and we gave out a Book of Mormon. Elder Petersen gave and picture perfect PMG invitation. After that interaction we were all going crazy. It's so amazing to see that God is both so aware of His children and His missionaries.

I also got to go on and exchange with Elder Nichols in Indian Springs. It's about 30 minutes outside of Vegas. There were so many donkeys and horses. Everyone was so cool. We went pit with a member of the branch presidency and found a cool new guy to teach.

My new wards are insane! The houses here are enormous especially in Washburn. Everything is spaced out and it honestly feels so good. Some parts of Vegas can feel claustrophobic but Lone Mountain is the exact opposite. It is also super hilly and wow my legs are getting destroyed. The only thing that can keep me biking up those hills is the knowledge that at the top there is someone who needs Jesus Christ and we have the opportunity to help them feel His love.

I also got a haircut and they cut it a bit shorter than I thought they would, but at least I probably don't have to get a haircut the rest of my mission ðŸ˜…

"Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise." 2 Nephi 2:8
