#84 God is Good, God is Great

Hello everyone! 

Super good past week! We had a lot of time to go out and work which was so good. We got to go on 2 exchanges and we saw so many miracles 😇

The first exchange was with Elder King. We did a service at a new Presbyterian church. It was so cool to walk around it and see the similarities and differences between their church and our church. We were looking through their hymnals and they don't have the all time classics like "Praise to the Man," "Joseph Smith's First Prayer," and "The Spirit of God." So I think I'll stick with our hymn book 😁 The rest of the day went and talked to so many people, but no one was interested in even talking. But that's alright. They will eventually 😇 Our last lesson was in Spanish and it was pretty wild. She went from not liking the church and thinking it's evil to wanting to serve a mission. Shoutout Elder King for destroying her with the Spirit.

The next couple days were thr exact opposite of the first day. We had so many genuine conversations with people. And always, the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ answered all of their concerns. We've been working on starting all of our street contacts with restored truths like the Book of Mormon, eternal families, and the reality that God still speaks to us today. The spirit has been so much stronger. 

Last Sunday the ward mission leader in one of our wards invited one of his friends, Ezekiel, to church. He came and loved it. We had a couple lessons and he's been eating it up. We invited him to pray about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith but before we could even finish extending the invitation he said he already knew it was true 🤯 He came to church again and we invited him to be baptized and he said, "There's nothing I want more. But I'm going to pray and ask God what day He wants me to be baptized" That's exactly what we want you to do Ezekiel 😇😇 

One of my favorite hymns is "I Believe in Christ." Verse 4 is so good

#10 Transfers and Dia de la Familia

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
