#80, 81 God Is the Best

 God is so good. The Lord is in the vineyard. Miracles happen.


These past couple weeks have been so crazy. They were so hard, so joyful, and so miracle filled. 

Kristen was baptized!!! The service was so good! She bore her testimony and her parents (non members) started crying. The spirit was palpable. I got to play the piano which was so much fun. After the baptism we went to BJs with her family and the Leavitts. I got jambalaya for the first time. Shoutout Elder Amos and his talk "Good News Receipe." We then had stake conference with Elder Bunker and that was pretty awesome. He talked about how we are literal children of God who wants us to experience joy and how we were exceedingly faithful in the pre-mortal life. We chosen Him before, we just need to choose Him again. 

For absolutely no reason this week, Vegas decided to get stupid cold. On Thursday it was fridgid with wind and nasty rain. We were out biking all day, and it was one of the funnest days of my mission. We found so much joy in the pain and we saw so many miracles. My fingers were completely pink and I actually thought for a bit that they were going to fall off. But we survived ðŸ˜‡ We also tried something new that day and sang primary songs for our street contacts and it brought the spirit so strong. 

We had MLC yesterday and then afterwards saw so many miracles. We found a family that speaks Portuguese from a media referral. And the family lives in the neighborhood with our ward mission leader. And his wife is from Brazil ðŸ‡§ðŸ‡· So cool! The Lord is in the vineyard 

I know and can testify that Jesus Christ knows each of you perfectly and He's completely aware everything going on in your life. Turn to Him and you'll feel better. A life focused on Jesus then others and then yourself is a life of Joy!

#10 Transfers and Dia de la Familia

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
