#78 Perfect Weather

 Hi everyone!!


This was another pretty solid week. There wasn't a ton of extraordinary things but it was still really good.

I went on an exchange with Elder Barranca. It was a pretty good time. We talked with this guy named Wenkang for about 30 seconds and he said we could have a lesson at the church on Saturday. And then he actually showed up! And he's super interested! He's going to be at church this Sunday! Pray for him 🙏 

We had more phenomenal lessons with Kristen and Tetiana. They're so amazing. We actually got to meet Tetiana in person and it was so cool. She's taller than me which is insane. We started teaching about the spirit world and she was like "that's talked about in 2 Nephi 9 right?" 🤯🤯 Her knowledge and understanding is so amazing. 

Sorry to all those who have been covered in snow these past couple weeks. I've been biking around in a short sleeved shirt. It's been like constantly 70 degrees. Perfect weather 👌 

This past weekend we finished our mission study of the Book of Mormon. We read Moroni 10 as a mission and they I went to go pray about it. I decided to follow the invitation in the introduction to the book. "We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true. Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost. (See Moroni 10:3–5.)"  As I was praying I wrote down some of the different messages that the book contains.
- Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world 
- Repentance and redemption are real 
- Keep the commandments and you will find joy 
- God wants to speak to us
- Jesus Christ is the only way we can make it back to the Father 

And of course there's so much more. As I was pondering on these messages, the thought came to me that a book that teaches these messages so powerfully had to come from God. And then I was filled with so much joy 😊 I love the Book of Mormon and I know it truly is another testament of Jesus Christ 😇😇

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
