What's up everyone??!! It's been a pretty good past couple of weeks.
We had transfer planning a couple weeks back and it was super good and super inspired as always. Our area got changed from Pueblo to Spanish Hills! So I'm back in the area I served in from April to July. It was so good to see all the members and new members that I knew from that time. Julie (who was baptized back in September) spoke in church. It was so cool seeing someone who I helped teach now teaching me
It's been amazing to see the change that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought in her life

Also this transfer I'm not going to be traveling around at all. I'm going to miss traveling around the mission, but after doing it for basically 6 months straight, just working in an area is pretty refreshing. We still have quite a few meetings, but for the most part I'll just be in an area!! I'm also still companions with Elder Gurr. This makes 7 months of being companions
He's such a goofball and I love him so much.

He's such a goofball and I love him so much.I'm also now a great grandpa in mission terms. My son's (Elder Empey) son (Elder Davis) is now training a new missionary (Elder Prax). So my posterity is growing!! I'm such a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
We have this amazing friend named Tetiana who is absolutely incredible. She reads the Book of Mormon in English and Ukrainian so she can understand it. And she has such a great understanding of the gospel. Her life is crazy busy so she's only able to make it to church once a month. So please pray for Tetiana so her schedule can loosed up and allow her to worship the Savior at church

Our friend Kristen is also amazing
She's getting baptized on Valentine's day and she has some of the most incredible faith that I've ever seen. She also has so many amazing questions. I'm so grateful we have President Leavitt to help us teach her because his understanding of the gospel is out of this world. Spanish Hills is just the greatest ward in the world!!!

We know they're out there and we just need to find them.
At new missionary orientation on Friday we talked a lot about receiving revelation which has been something I've been looking at recently. I love the fact that God wants to speak with us and He does speak to us every single day. We just need to learn to recognize it. Our mission president recently had a meeting with Elder Renlund, an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the meeting Elder Renlund said that he is not hardwired to heaven. For him to receive guidence from God, he still has to work for it. I find that so interesting. Even though he's an apostle, he still has to seek revelation by study, prayer, and many other means. So if an apostle still has to work for revelation, of course we can't just assume God is going to answer us without us truly seeking. God wants to speak to us, and as we put in the work, we will understand His word!!
Have a good one!!
Elder Jensen
