#55 20 years old? That's crazy!
How's it going everyone? It was another great week in the wild wild west side of Las Vegas.
My first exchange was with Elder Smith and Elders Burns in Rancho. Now my trainer Elder Hansen told me so much about how awesome Rancho is, and I'll tell you, it did not disappoint. We went out biking all day long talking to everyone and teaching so many people. It was probably the hottest couple of days so far so I was dying of thirst, but it was a ton of fun. The one thing that was not fun was that I woke up the first night and the air mattress was flat
So the next night I used a blanket as a pad because sleeping on the floor is more comfortable than sleeping on a half filled up air mattress.

On Friday the APs made me stay with them because apparently it was my birthday and they wanted me to spend the day with them. It was pretty fun. We had an activity with all the new missionaries where we played volleyball and other games. I got to see Elder Booth (shoutout Mountain View High School
) and I also saw Elder Larsen who was in my brother's FSY company. After the activity we spent a lot of time at the mission office planning zone conference. It's going to be a good one for sure
We then had Hawaiian food for dinner and a Polynesian dessert that's basically rolls dipped in coconut milk. It was crazy good.

I went to sacrament meeting and it was half in Tongan and half in English. All the hymns were in Tongan and it was cool to sing along with that. I found out that every word in Tongan ends in a vowel. I also ate a couple Togan dishes. My favorite was this corn beef covered in seaweed. I also really enjoyed the crab
I finished the Book of Luke this week in the New Testament. I love the reminder that Jesus Christ literally does live! His resurrection was not fictional or just a story, He lives!
"Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen:"
Jesus Christ lives and because He lives we can find true joy in this life and lasting joy in the life to come!
Have a great week!

(By the way, we went to a cowboy store for pday. That's where most of the pictures come from)
