#53 Sleeping on the floor is not too bad

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone's having a great week! 😁

This week was definitely unlike any I've had yet in my mission. I was bouncing all over the place and just having a great time 😇

From Tuesday night to Thursday night I was with Elder Christensen and Elder Carrasco in the Laurelwood ward. It was a party 🥳 Elder Carrasco is from Chile and is a professional biker. We saw quite a few miracles those couple days. We were praying for those who were prepared for the gospel to reach out to us and we got many media referrals. We started teaching a couple of them which was so cool.

From Friday-Saturday I was basically as far down south as you can possibly go in my mission with Elder Blackmore and Elder Proctor. They are two of the funniest people I've ever met. And for the most part, it wasn't too distracting from the work. Sometimes we had to reel it back in, but overall it was a really good time. We had an amazing church tour with their friend Joseph and the Spirit was SO STRONG! He committed to come to church, and he actually came the next day which is a huge miracle.

After being all the way down south, I went all the way up north the past two days with Elder Gates and Elder Hunter. I got to go to church with them and their ward is so big for a Vegas ward. It felt like I was back in Idaho.

It was so fun to bike again this week 🚴‍♀️ I probably looked so weird having water bottles in my back pocket the whole week, but you've got to do what you've got to do

The sleeping situation has definitely been an adventure this past week. There were 4 straight nights that I slept in a different apartment. In the past 10ish nights I've only slept on a bed twice. I spend 2 nights on a very thin pad. I also spent lime 4 nights on a flat air mattress. It stayed pumped up long enough for me to fall asleep, but when I woke up in the middle of the nights, I'd be in the weirdest positions because the mattress would be mostly flat. And then on the two nights that I did get to sleep on a bed I slept so well! God has definitely been helping me out this week. We'll see how much my back appreciates this in lime 50 years.

Also, I've been told that I've been a missionary for over a year but I don't know how much I believe that 😬

John 16:33

"33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world"

God is good! The world is crazy and it's often very hard. But we can be absolutely confident that the Lord will help us through it. This past year has been the hardest year of my life. But because of Jesus Christ, it has also been the best and most joyful year of my life. I'm so grateful that Jesus lived a perfect life so that I can still feel joy despite all my imperfections. There have been many days where I woke up and didn't know if I could do it. But once I remembered why I'm out here, I realized as long as I try, the Lord won't let me fail. God is so good, the Book of Mormon is His word, and Jesus Christ lives 😇😇😇

I'm so excited for 1 more year of miracles!
Have a good one!
