How's everyone doing?!

I got to go on another exchange in the Mandarin branch with Elder Nessen on Friday. Elder Nessen was just reassigned Mandarin a couple months ago so he doesn't know too much Mandarin and obviously I don't really know any, but it was still so much fun. We taught english classes, and the Lord BLESSED us with the gift of tongues 🙏 I learned how to say "we are representatives of Jesus Christ" (that's the title). I also learned how to say thanks, I love you, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I love the Chinese people so much! They are so amazing and so kind. It's always so spiritual to be in the Mandarin branch.

Our friend Danele, who has been taught for the longest time, decided that she's ready to be taught again. She accepted a baptismal date for August 9th and this time it's actually going to happen because she's been praying for the strength to be baptized on that day. So pray for Danele! 🙏🙏🙏

Yesterday was a pretty crazy day. It started off with district council. We then drove over to the mission office for MLC. While waiting for lunch one of the APs came up to us and said we'd be picking up a new companion after MLC. So after the meeting we waited another hour and a half to pick up our new companion. So welcome Elder Newburn. There's only one week left of the transfer, so he'll probably only be here for this one week, but it should be pretty fun 😁 After we got home, we realized Elder Newburn still had his old car keys so we had to drive all the way back to the mission office again to drop it off. So I got to drive a lot yesterday 🚗 It was pretty fun 

The only sad thing this week was that a lot of our friends used their agency to say they would be at church and then not show up 🙃 But we have so much faith in Jesus Christ that they will be there next week 🙏 


"32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God."

I love this verse! The only way we can become better and eventually become perfect is through Jesus Christ. He loves you so much!

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
