#49, #50 Miracles, Miracles, Miracles!!!

 How's it going everyone?! I hope y'all have had a great week. This week was pretty fantastic. We saw a lot of Miracles and it was really fun.


On Saturday we got to go on an exchange with the APs. I was with Elder Taumoepeau and it was so fun! We found a lot of new people and I learned so much from him. We talked to a professional 3v3 basketball player and he's interested in learning more which is awesome! 🏀

Our friend Julie accepted a baptismal date this week!! 🎉🎉 She has always know that she wanted to be baptized but she felt like she needed to know more (but she definitely knows enough). While planning for a lesson with her, me and Elder Rogers prayed about what date she would be ready and we both had the same exact date come to mind. During the lesson we told her our thoughts and then we invited her to pray right then and there to ask God if that was the date she should be baptized. She started praying and then was overcome with the Spirit. After the prayer there was such a joyful spirit in the room and everyone there knew it was the right date. It was definitely one of the coolest moments of my mission. 

We have a friend in our area named Danelle. She has met with missionaries for such a long time and has had multiple baptismal dates. But she's had some struggles that have kept her from being baptized. We text her every week and invite her to church, but she usually doesn't come. On Sunday morning we sent her ⛪️? But she said she probably wouldn't come. So we sent her a music video from gospel library and she absolutely loved it. And she decided to come to church! So now we're teaching her again and we have faith in Jesus Christ that this time will be the time she decides to make a government with God!

Yesterday we helped these people move, and it was very funny because we were the only ones that were there that were sober. So we were doing most of the work while everyone else was just wondering around and asking what floor they were on. Me and Elder Rogers had a very good laugh about that 😂😂

Last night I learned a pretty cool lesson. We needed to knock one more door but I had to go to the bathroom very bad. We went to go knock the door and I was kind of hoping that they wouldn't answer so I could use the bathroom sooner. The Lord humbled me and they did answer the door and it turns out they're interested in learning more about the gospel! So I learned that you just have to keep pushing even if it's hard and the Lord will bless you!! 🙌 

One of my favorite chapters in The Book of Mormon is Alma chapter 26. This is when the sons of mosiah are reflecting on their mission experience and how good the Lord is. I really like the last verse in the chapter.
"37 Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen."

I can testify that God is mindful of everyone no matter where you are, what you look like, for what you've done. He knows us each perfectly. I found that the best way to be happy is to follow God and give thanks for everything that we have. I have found so much joy out here serving the Lord and seeing how much He loves all of His children. He loves you so much! ❤️

#10 Transfers and Dia de la Familia

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
