#45, 46 See You at the Tree

 How's it going everyone? I hope you've all had a great last couple weeks. Sorry I didn't send out an email last week. Here's a quick rundown of two weeks ago:


-We got transfer news and for the first time I'm keeping a companion!!
-We're staying in Spanish Hills and then we also picked up the Sierra Vista ward
-The Sierra Vista ward is the ward my family lived in when they were in Vegas. So technically I've kind of lived in this ward before. I was just in the womb
-Our friend Michelle is awesome! She came to church and quit coffee before we ever talked about the Word of Wisdom
-We met an awesome new friend named Betty

I love missionary work so much! Life is so good. This past week we did a lot of planning for the transfer. It's going to be a 7 week transfer so we get to pack a lot of exchanges in there 😁😁 

We went to the temple with our new member Linda and the Spirit was so strong 🙌 She was baptized for her grandmas and it was just a wonderful feeling. It was my first time at the temple in like 4 months and it felt so good to be back. Go to the temple as often as circumstances permit. It will bless your life so much! 


Tomorrow our mission leaders go home 😭😭😭 They're two of the greatest people I've met in my life. During our last zone conference they talked about staying strong in the faith for the of our lives so that we can all one day reunite at the tree of life 🌳 and rejoice with each other. Just another reason why I'll never fall away. See you at the tree President and Sister Nielsen 😇 (and hopefully sooner at a mission reunion or something 🤞)

But I'm also soooo excited for President and Sister Coleman to come in! They're going to be awesome! We get to meet them tomorrow. And then that night President Coleman is going to come teaching with me and Elder Rogers. So pray for many mighty miracles that night 🙏

I was reading in Alma this week and the story of the strippling warriors. I love the trust that they had in what they had been taught by their mothers. "they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them." I'm so grateful for the examples that I have had. I'm grateful for what my mom taught me and also my mission mama Sister Nielsen. They have taught me so much about Jesus Christ and I do not doubt that they know it 😁

#10 Transfers and Dia de la Familia

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
