#42 Memorial Day

 Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🗽🗽🗽 What a great day to be in this beautiful country!!!!!


I got to go on two exchanges this week which was so fun! I was with Elder Smith who has been a missionary for like a week. I also got to go on another exchange with Elder Savage.

Yesterday we had MLC and it was Sister Nielsen's (our mission president's wife) birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 So we had a birthday party for her. We went around each saying one thing we love about her. It was super sweet. There were tears in everyone's eyes. I'm going to miss her so much 😢 Basically at MLC, President told us that next transfer it's basically going to be all on the missionaries because President and Sister Coleman won't really know what they're doing. So that's going to be pretty fun 😁 I know the Coleman's will do a great job

We went to a fireside on Sunday and it was back in my old stake so I got to see so many of my favorite people of all time from the Coronado ward. Shoutout Justin and Kyler for getting their mission calls!!

It's starting to get really hot 🥵🥵 I've drank more water this week than like ever before. And it's still going to get like 25 degrees hotter in June and July 😭 Pray for me please 🙏 

We had two amazing lessons with our friend Linda this week. She's so amazing! The Lord had definitely been preparing her. She basically already seems like a member. Her testimony is so powerful. 

This week I was reading in Alma chapter 5 which is so good! It asks so many thought provoking questions that can help us see if our testimony is as strong as it can be! So I want to invite you all to read that chapter and ponder your relationship with Christ. I know he lives and I know he loves you!

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
