How's it going everyone! Another week in the books!

My new companion Elder Rogers is a legend. He's legally blind, but is one of the best missionaries I've ever met. We've had a lot of fun this first week of the transfer. He's also one of the hardest workers I've ever met.

The highlight of the week was my exchange with my mission dad Elder Judd. It brought my back to September except this time I at least kinda knew what I was doing. I can't believe he goes home in 2 months 😭😭

I also got to go on another exchange with Elder Windous. His area is right next to the strip. It's funny that Vegas is most famous for the strip, but everyone in Vegas can't stand it. Most people here never go there because it's literally just the great and spacious building.

The past week we've been teaching the wife of one of the members of our ward. She's been going to church with him for almost 25 years now, and she finally decided that she wants to be baptized. 🥳🥳 It's been so amazing to see her excitement. She's already read the whole book of mormon and she already has a testimony of Joseph Smith. These lessons have been some of the most spiritual lessons I've ever had. Her name is Linda, but she makes us call here long legged Linda because she like 6'2" She's getting baptized on June 7th and we're so excited!

This week I've been studying a lot about handing my will to the Lord. I've learned that in order to have the most joy possible in this life, we have to be willing to sacrifice the things of this world and have Jesus Christ and His gospel be the most important part of our life! Give everything to Him because He's already done everything for you!

Have a great week!
Elder Jensen
