#37 Jensen²

 How's it going everyone? I hope you had a great week! Mine was pretty crazy.


On Wednesday we had zone conference which was amazing as always!! Me and Elder Vela got to give a training on seeking and relying on the Spirit and it went pretty well!

Thursday was maybe the most insane day of my mission. We did an emergency blitz with some of the elders in the zone so we were out of our area for most of the day. Then on our way home, we got a text from President Nielson who said that an elder in our zone was going home the next day so his companion (Elder Jensen) would be joining our companionship. So now I'm in a trio with two Elder Jensens. We cover three wards, one of which is a YSA. So yeah, life is pretty crazy right now, but it's all good because the Lord is in the vineyard!

I also got to go on a Mandarin exchange on Saturday. I felt useless most of the time, bit I did learn my name in Mandarin. Zhan Sen 詹森. So I'm basically a Mandarin elder now.

We then got to go to a Jenny Oaks Baker Easter concert with some of our friends. It was so awesome! The Spirit was so strong. But then drive to and from the concert hall basically took us on the strip 😬 Sorry President.

I love Easter so much! The knowledge that Jesus Christ lives is the greatest knowledge in the world. It's also such a privilege to be able to share the good news of the resurrection of Jesus Christ with the world 😁 I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter week and that you keep the joyful spirit with you the rest of the year!

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
