#26 Bike Problems

 What's going on everyone?! I hope y'all had a good week!


On Wednesday we had our interviews with President. He's just so wise and always helps out with anything. And it's also always fun geeking out with Sister Nielson about the Book of Mormon. She's an absolute legend‼️

These past few days have been gorgeous outside. I don't know why, but I feel more like a missionary going put in a short sleeve white shirt. But it's gonna get kinda cold again later this week 🥲


We've had so many bike problems this week. Elder Gates has gotten so many flat tires. We bought a new tire and started pumping it up and then it exploded 🤯 It sounded like a gun shot. It was honestly so loud. We got it fixed and it lasted one day before both his front and back tires went flat 😐 What's super funny is that he has a mountain bike and I have a road bike and we go "offroading" a lot (only when there isn't a sidewalk) so I should be getting these flat tires, but mine have been perfect so far 🤞

The Sandy Valley elders have been staying with us the past couple days so it's been a little crowded. But it's always fun whenever they come in. I did a little blitz with Elder Lyons yesterday, and then Elder Faires (who's been out for just a few weeks) is staying here tomorrow while Elder Gates gets to go all the way out to Sandy (it's actually only and hour away). 

2 Nephi 33:10
"10 And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good."

I love this verse because it is such a powerful witness that the Book of Mormon is true. I know the book is true because of how it testifies of Jesus Christ. It just has to be true. No one could bear that powerful of a testimony of Jesus Christ all by themselves. I can promise that anyone who sincerely reads the Book and prays about it will get a witness that it is the word if God. And because it's the word of God, that means Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's church on the earth today. Go and read the Book of Mormon. It will change your life

#10 Transfers and Dia de la Familia

First I'll start with the transfer news. Both me and Elder Judd were sorta transferred. He is now a zone leader and he has one of our wards (Alexander) and a Spanish ward. I have our other ward (Painted Desert) and then Mountain Crest. My wards are in two different stakes which is weird for my mission. My new companion is Elder Hansen. This transfer should be pretty good. It's also different because it's only 5 weeks because of Thanksgiving so it'll be pretty fast. I'm sad that I'm leaving my papi Elder Judd but Elder Hansen will be a great companion. This past transfer had been hard to find lessons, but this week we had so many miracles. #5-Viva Las Vegas

 What's up everyone!? This past week has definitely been crazy! There's been a lot that was good and a lot that was hard, but I guess that's missionary work for you. If you didn't hear last week, my first companion is Elder Judd who I went to high school with. It's been really fun to talk about home with him. He thinks it's really crazy that when he tells his stories I actually know who he's talking about   My first area is in the Meadows stake which is northwest Las Vegas. We cover two wards in that stake. If you guys have never been to Las Vegas and you want to know what it's like, just imagine Idaho, but like 10-15 degrees hotter and where you see grass, instead picture rocks and dirt. Other than that it's not too different from what I know. But the drivers are a lot crazier which has made for some fun car rides. But I guess I have seen a bit of grass because one area is a little more wealthy so they can afford to care for grass. Also most of the ...
