#29 Pahrump!

Pahrump is pretty fun! πŸ˜† It's a lot different than Vegas and makes me feel like I'm in a completely different mission. There's desert everywhere. We do have a couple neighborhoods in our area, but for the most part the houses are very spread out. The one thing that isn't great is that there are so many dogs. And for those of you who know me, you know I don't really like dogs. And their pretty scary dogs πŸ˜¬

A lot of the work here is with members who don't really come to church which is different than what I'm used to, but it's still good!

We had quite a few lessons with our friend Jimmy this week and he said he wants to be baptized πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ But he will be moving very soon so we're going to have to figure that out. But it doesn't matter where he gets baptized because the covenant is the same everywhere. He came to church on Sunday and absolutely loved it! He also brought free circus tickets and started to give them out to everyone. Basically, he's just a legend.

This transfer we have a mini van. So we feel like soccer moms driving around πŸ’ͺ We also have two bathrooms so I have my own!! Basically, Pahrump is just heaven.

My new district is also pretty fun. It's just us and two companionships of sisters. It's a little sad that I don't have elders because that means I don't get to go on exchanges, but the sisters are good too. It's a solid district.

In my personal study this week I was in ether chapter 12 which is one of the greatest chapters in The Book of mormon! The way Moroni talks about faith is just so powerful. Three of my favorite verses of all time come from this chapter. So I want to invite all of you sometime this week to read ether chapter 12. One of my favorite verses is 41. "And now, I would commend you to seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written, that the grace of God the Father, and also the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of them, may be and abide in you forever. Amen."
Never stop seeking Jesus. He has done so much for you and He loves you so much. We can always turn to Him no matter how many mistakes we've made. I love my Savior so much and I'm so glad I get to serve Him πŸ˜Š

Have a great week!
Elder Jensen
