#18 Magic Dancing Shoes

 What's up everyone!?

I hope you all are doing amazing! Not too much happened this week so this might be a short email.

On Saturday we had a breakfast with all the missionaries in the zone at a member's home. Brother Moffat kept bringing us more food and more chocolate milk even though I told him I was full. He just kept saying, "you're on bike elder you need to eat more calories." I probably ate more at that breakfast than the rest of the week combined.

On Sunday we got to speak in church! I honestly don't mind speaking. I spoke on the Book of Mormon Christmas story. We are a lot like the Nephites at the time of Christ's first coming. They were waiting for the words of the prophets to be fulfilled. We are waiting for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and we need to stay faithful to what we know. When we are always prepared for the Second Coming our lives will be happier and a lot more joyful.

We then went and helped in primary. There was the magical pair of shoes that would make someone dance if the kids sang well. For those of you who know me I don't dance very much, but I decided to just go all out and it was so fun to see all the kids dying laughing.

The work in this area is slowly moving forward. In our mission to find someone means you've had two lessons with them. So we should find a couple people this week and we'll finally have people to teach! It's been a hard first few weeks of the transfer work wise, but I know the Lord is blessing us for our hard work.

One verse I really loved this week was 2 Nephi 26:24. "He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may draw all men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they shall not partake of his salvation." Everything Jesus did was for us. That's why He came to Earth and that's why we celebrate Christmas. Everything He did was to draw us to Him. When we turn to Him, He gives us the strength to overcome all of our trials. He wants all of us to turn to Him. His Atonement is for everyone who has ever lived. I love Jesus so much and I'm so grateful I get to be out here serving Him!

Hope y'all have a great week!
