#4-Mountain View Gang
What's up everyone?!
This email will be pretty short because I was traveling today and my P-Day is almost over. And by the way my P-Days will be on Tuesday in the field.
The last week of the MTC was good. We had a devotional with Sister Amy Wright of the Primary Presidency. She spoke on leaving on a mission one way and then coming back a changed person.
Other than that. The rest of the MTC was basically the same. We would go to classes and do a whole lot of practice.
Today we checked out of the MTC and boarded buses and trains to get to the airport. It was fun to eat some really good food. Not that the MTC food was terrible but Cafe Rio is just that good. Our flight was delayed an hour and a half so we got into Vegas late. We quickly went to the mission office and had a quick lunch and met with President and Sister Nielson. I can already tell I'm going to learn a lot from them.
And now for the title. I got to meet my trainer and it's Elder Dyson Judd who went to my high school. He was in my freshman seminary class. He is a Spanish speaking elder but President Nielson told him he'd speak English this transfer and he was so confused until he found out he'd be training me. I super excited because I've heard he's a fantastic trainer and I'm ready to get to work!
Have a great week!
Elder Jensen
Sorry for the lack of photos today has been a busy day. We ran out of spoons so I had to use this flosser to eat my ice cream.
Dear Brother and Sister Jensen,
Your son has arrived here in the Las Vegas Nevada West Mission. Here are photos for you. One with the Mission President and Sister Nielsen, one of all the missionaries that came in today and one of your son with his companion.
It was a long and busy day for him but we are so grateful to have him here in this mission. This will be a great experience for him and you will see many blessings come into your lives as your son serve here with us.
Sister Rands
Mission Secretary
